Boarding

Tau House

Simba International School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school in Ndola (Copperbelt). The school runs a boarding house (TAU House) which is located five minutes from the main campus. It is sited on a ten acre plot and is bordered by the Army North Command Hospital, RTSA and the Zambia Air Force (ZAF) Airport.

The boarding house is modelled around the plans of a motel. The students have self -contained units which sleep a maximum of four children, however the senior school students are limited to two students per unit.

There are separate boarding houses for the girls, junior boys and senior boys. On the property we have a fully functional Cafeteria, Laundry, Games room, television lounges soccer field/ volleyball court.

The responsibility for every aspect of a student’s life whilst at school, ultimately lies with the House parents, who are assisted by carefully selected prefects and monitors.

Boarding at Tau House

To complement our day school sessions, Simba is reputed for its thriving boarding amenities at Tau House, run under serene environments and educationally hospitable accommodation set to aid academic success.

At Tau House our boarding facilities continue to attract mostly secondary school students from Lusaka and its surrounding areas. There is an enduring legacy of excellent House-parenting in the hostel, which has given our parents and school community considerable comfort and confidence in our pastoral care.
