Students from Grades 8 - 11 are given the opportunity to participate in class trips every year. These trips not only encourage local and expatriate students to admire the natural bounty that Zambia has to offer; they also enhance personality development and oster team spirit. In fact, more often than not, teachers who accompany these students on trips tend to observe character traits and skills that are not evident within the classroom. While most of these trips are not compulsory students are encouraged to "move out of the comfort zone" of city life as the experience can help them grow and learn.

Kasanka National Park - In the month of November, when "the bats come in," Grade 9 students visit Kasanka National Park. Students enjoy hiking, lessons in ecology and games of football and netball against the local school teams.

Kapishya Hot Springs - Sometime in the middle of May every year, the Grade 10 group undertakes the 9-hour drive to Kapishya Hot Springs where they can enjoy soaking themselves after a long journey, an activity-filled day or even just for the fun of it. Students on this trip are also given a lesson in local history as they are taken on a trip to Shiwa Ngandu (Africa House). Hiking, boating ,white-water rafting and a game against the local school are also a part of this enjoyable adventure in the Northern Province of Zambia.

Wildtracks - This is one trip that is mandatory for all Grade 11 students simply because it offers a leadership programme during which students can hone and exhibit their talents as leaders. As such, this trip also gives teachers the chance to assess potential prefects for the next academic year. Nature walks, fishing, boating, baobab-climbing and a cook-out are the highlights of this highly-anticipated adventure on the Lower Zambezi.
